During his youth, Girouard relished the outdoors with frequent camping, hiking, fishing and hunting adventures. He found an energy and wisdom in the natural world that words and representational images could not convey. Girouard’s experience with art was much like his experience with Nature. In essence, my paintbrush is a glue gun and the paint is a blend of molten glue and crayons heated to extreme temperatures.
